DJ SMAN (Micheal Vigil) started his journey in music as a sound technician, spending over 20 years behind the scenes before stepping into the DJ world. When his brother, a retired DJ, handed over the reins, Micheal jumped at the chance. In June 2020, he got his first Pioneer controller and, after six weeks of tutorials, learned the art of mixing beats and reading the crowd across all genres of music.

By 2025, DJ SMAN had upgraded to a top-of-the-line FLX 10 light system, powerful sound equipment, and his own carry-on trailer to take his performances anywhere. Based in Santa Fe, he built a loyal following by playing weddings, quinceañeras, graduations, and other special events, where he brings people together with his music.

But DJ SMAN isn’t just about playing tunes—he makes sure everything sounds perfect, working with artists to ensure their music and sound levels are spot-on. Whether it’s a seasoned pro or someone new to the scene, he’s dedicated to giving everyone a professional experience. In April 2025, he partnered with Alpha Primate Entertainment, expanding his reach into the hip-hop scene.

Now performing under the name **DJ SIMIAN**, he’s ready to bring even more energy and excitement to every show. Welcome him as he continues to make waves in the music world!
